Tailored lessons
Every plan is written around one student — their learning style, their goals, their week.
Four studios · Sydney · ages 4+
Lessons in Carlingford, Fairfield, Epping and Cherrybrook. We teach the instrument properly — and give every student a room to play for the people they love.
01The academy
Horizon Music Academy began with one teacher, one piano and a wish: to give students somewhere to play for the people they love. Four studios later, that idea still shapes every lesson we teach.
We keep classes one-to-one. Teachers are matched to students, not the other way round, and progress is measured by the things a student can actually do — a piece they can perform, a scale they can hear, a mistake they can fix on their own.
“Technical ability follows confidence. Our job is to build both.”
Ms Charity · Founder
02What we teach
Piano and violin are the instruments. Theory and exam preparation are what turn playing into musicianship. Every course is built around one student at a time.

04How we teach
The curriculum is flexible; the principles are not.
Every plan is written around one student — their learning style, their goals, their week.
Students are free to experiment, make mistakes and grow, because nobody performs their best while afraid of getting it wrong.
Technique, theory, listening and performance are taught together, so skill becomes musicianship.

07Where we teach
Each studio keeps its own character and its own families. Choose the one closest to home — or the one whose teacher fits best.
