Every teacher at Horizon is a working musician and a trained teacher. We match students to the person who will get the most out of them — not simply to whoever has a gap in the timetable.

Ms Charity

Charity is the founder of Horizon Music Academy and specialises in teaching piano and music theory to children from age four. The academy grew out of her wish to give her students a place to play for the people they love — which is why community performance is still the heart of the curriculum.

Jay began at the keyboard as a young child and went on to study under the Spanish pianist Dr Gian-Franco Ricci. He teaches both technical command and a genuine love of the repertoire.
